OK, Northern California near the coast, is as far west as I can go. This is the home of the giant Redwood trees. I have seen them in pictures, but I can't imagine how magnificent these trees are. I do want to see them.
I soooooo want to see the giant red woods. I took an naturalist class and I was able to see very large cypress trees and the knees (stumps) came to my knees :) I am 6 feet. I wish I had taken my camera on that outing.
Since I live in Northern California I feel this is my backyard in a sense. If you ever make it out this way, please let me know. It would be find to visit.
